Obviously given the history between Alice and the Red Queen, there’s a lack of trust but she eventually agrees to make the long trek to Raccoon City.Īlong the way, she encounters Umbrella Corporation goons and eventually captured by Dr. After battling more beasts and the undead, Alice receives a message from the Red Queen (EVER ANDERSON), that there is a cure for the T-Virus and she wants Alice to infiltrate the Hive in Raccoon City, retrieve said cure and distribute into the air.
Thanks to the T-Virus, the worldwide population has dwindled to mere thousands. Resident Evil: The Final Chapter finds Alice (MILLA JOVOVICH) roaming the badlands that is the United States. The sixth and “final” (yeah right, China will say otherwise) entry into the vaunted Resident Evil franchise has the advantage of being better than Sony’s other horror franchise, Underworld. The Resident Evil Six Film Collection will be available on November 3rd, and is already available for pre-order through most major retailers, with an MSRP of $79.99 USD. As an added bonus, they’ve also thrown in some special features previously unavailable on any disc, adding a little more value for those who just can’t get enough of the behind-the-scenes goodies. The set will feature the standard and extended cuts of arguably the best film in the series, Resident Evil: Apocalypse, both in 4K quality. The fidelity upgrades of the films include the fairly obvious inclusion of HDR and Dolby Atmos capability, as well as native 4K resolution, and there will also be downloadable digital 4K versions of the films included. Sony Pictures has now confirmed the release of the Resident Evil Six Film Collection, a 4K UHD Blu-Ray box set featuring all six of the live-action movies on their own discs, with standard Blu-Ray copies of each film also included. Were you always sad you could never get two or three of the Resident Evil movies on 4K Blu-ray? Or are you a stickler for box sets where everything matches together visually? Did you never buy one of the other 5 box sets they’ve released for the series? Or maybe you just buy anything that says Resident Evil on it?
